Reardon Baker, PE
Reardon joined Peterson Guadagnolo Consulting Engineers PC in June 2018 after graduating from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Energy Systems. During his studies, he interned for two years at Syracuse University’s Office of Campus Planning, Design, and Construction, where he contributed to a variety of projects, including building cooling load calculations and comprehensive inventory and maintenance assessments of stairwell pressurization, smoke evacuation, and laboratory fume exhaust systems.
At PGPC, Reardon has worked extensively on large-scale commercial building renovations, leading the complete mechanical system design. His experience includes custom centralized HVAC systems, building steam and condensate distribution, hydronic heating and cooling, commercial kitchen ventilation, and exterior snow melting systems. He has also gained valuable experience in construction administration and commissioning of building MEP systems.
More recently, Reardon has designed and modernized multiple kitchen ventilation systems for a large stadium that previously relied solely on building pressure for air exhaust. His project portfolio also includes boiler system design and controls integration for several small commercial buildings.
In 2021, Reardon served as both lead designer and construction administrator for a project relocating an environmental growth chamber and constructing a new fish breeding laboratory. Additional projects include controls automation for a large student residence hall mechanical upgrade, mechanical design for a central steam heating plant deaerator tank replacement, and plumbing design for multiple stadium concession stands.
Reardon earned his Professional Engineering license in 2023.
