Syracuse University Graham Dining Hall Renovations
Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY
2014
This project involved a complete renovation of the dining hall’s serving and dining areas, including a small private dining addition and moderate kitchen upgrades. One of the goals of the project was to bring more “pop” and “sizzle” into the University dining experience through the abundant use of accent lighting, color changing lighting elements, and bright, lively colors.
Alongside the lighting improvements, the project included a full overhaul of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) systems. Upgrades encompassed new ventilation and exhaust systems, fire sprinkler protection, plumbing, fire alarm, and power distribution systems. All work was successfully completed within a tight 12-week summer construction window between academic years to minimize disruption.
