This project involved the construction of a new corporate office building and a 24/7/365 call center supporting New York State’s underground utilities marking and protection program, now known as UDig NY. The facility was equipped with all-new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) systems tailored to support continuous operations and modern workplace needs.

A unique feature of the building is the integrated “test dig” area, designed to support training and educational activities. The facility includes classroom space for lectures, seminars, and traditional instruction, as well as a dedicated hands-on training area. This space allows students and trainees to practice locating and marking concealed underground utilities in a controlled environment, enhancing the effectiveness of field training and safety education.
