The Underground High Voltage Project replaced the aging 1960s-era electric distribution system serving Sadler Residence & Dining Hall and Lawrinson Hall. The existing infrastructure required significant upgrades, including the replacement of ductbanks, vaults, and 5kV cabling, to prepare for the broader 15kV electric distribution improvements planned for 2025.

As part of the CenTrio Modernization Project, the primary electric service to these facilities is being upgraded from 5kV to 15kV. In addition to electrical enhancements, the project included landscaping improvements at the campus entrance to Sadler Hall, contributing to both infrastructure reliability and campus aesthetics.
